Nimonic 90 high-temperature nickel alloy
From:Bona Titanium          Date:2022/09/22

The Nimonic 90 welding wire, a nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy, can precipitate and harden, and have high stress fracture strength and creep resistance at high temperatures up to about 950 o C (1740 o F). It is widely used and is a well-proved alloy under high temperature conditions.

The Nimonic 90 is also known as Superimphy 90, Pyromet 90, and Udimet 90.

Physical characteristics

Density:8.81g/cm3

Nimonic® 90 A superalloy containing higher amounts of cobalt and chromium and elements, at up to about 950oC (1740oF). It has high stress rupture strength and creep resistance. It is a widely used alloy that withstood practice at high temperatures. Good high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, can be conducted by aging hardening treatment.

The alloy has high tensile strength and creep resistance from 815 to 870℃, good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength under the repeated alternation of hot and cold, and good formability and weldability. Mainly the supply of hot rolled and cold pulled rod, cold rolled plate, strip and cold pulled wire. For turbine engine turbine discs, blades, high temperature fasteners, hoops, sealing rings and elastic elements, etc.
